Up and Over garage door supply and installation
The Up & Over garage doors (also known as a canopy garage door) is continuing to be the most popular type of garage door throughout the UK. It is certainly understandable as it is the most simple to use, to install and to service. Up and Over canopy doors are suitable for openings up to approx 2438mm wide and the garage doors can fitted quickly and easily.
They are easy to install because of the vertical track design. The vertical tracks are fixed to the side frame and there is no need for any ceiling tracks. This makes for a more cost effective and time effective installation. Canopy Doors do come out as the least expensive garage door option but we do not recommend that they are adapted for remote use or via sensor.
They are also known as canopy doors as when the door is opened the door forms a canopy above the opening giving clients an awning effect. This garage door may require a bigger budget but it is not lacking when it comes to security – these Up and Over doors come with pivot points situated two-thirds of the way down the side of the door which give added security.
